The two strongest candidates in the race to oppose Harry Reid in Nevada are Sue Lowden and Danny Tarkanian. In my opinion, Sue Lowden is a terrible candidate because she played a leading role in disrupting an election at the state party convention in 2008. The convention was obligated, by state law and an agreement with the national party, to elect delegates to the national convention at the state convention in April of 2008. Because the elections were not turning out in her favor, Sue Lowden and a few others used their control of the podium to halt the election. One ballot box was confiscated and never counted.
